While Knack Factory is a relatively new entity, Zack and I, along with number of our partners, first found common creative and professional ground over five years ago. This team grew out of that initial spirit of cooperation.
With so many mutual friends and overlapping contacts in the creative community, there has been no shortage of opportunities for us to work together on projects creative, commercial, and everything in between. In 2011 and 2012, we produced the web series Food Coma TV. In producing that series, we learned that we worked so well together that it made perfect sense to continue doing so. Knack Factory was born.
Zack's background is in photography and mine is in video production and communication & community strategy. Our team is well-versed and talented in the areas of graphic design, web marketing, copywriting, project management, and musical scoring among others.
With the help of our team and strategic partners we are capable of taking on a range of dynamic, multi-layered projects. However, our true passions are content production and exploring the best ways to connect with communities, customers, and supporters.
In other words, we especially love making pretty pictures—static and moving—and we love working with clients to figure out how better become engaged community leaders.
We were excited to work with Beth Taylor of Longstocking Design, a favorite partner of ours, to create this site. It is intended to showcase our projects, past and present, and to highlight some of the things we're thinking about here on the blog. Our podcast serves to spotlight the folks we admire. There we discuss our professional and personal outlooks on their methods of communication.
